Allow me to introduce myself, the owner of Euro Pro Boots, Anne Howard.

Our History
Ursula Travers created EuroCraft boots at her home in the 1970's. An avid dressage rider, she came from Germany via Canada, and wanting a durable boot that was comfortable for her horses she created this boot in her home sewing office in Carmel Valley, California.  When she retired, my mother, Alexsandra Howard, bought the business and renamed it EuroProtective and later shortened to EuroPro. We had been using her boots for many years and found them to be the only one that didn't irritate the skin of our sensitive Thoughbred USET Dressage Team horse Bull Market. I first worked in the shop that manufactured these boots during high school breaks in 1982 and 1983, doing quality control, orders and shipping. We had leather and felt boots also then, Miller's Harness Company was our biggest account, and Wash 'n' Wear was a new concept.

Today, we are still based in Watsonville, California, USA, at a busy dressage stable where any questions on fit or materials can be immediately tested and improved. We use USA-made products and everything is made here at our California farm by one of 2 local sewing experts.

EuroPro was the first to make a durable wash ‘n’ wear synthetic boot, and while many have copied our product design, experienced equestrians know our much higher grade materials and workmanship creates a superior, more comfortable product for their horses. Flexible and pliant in cold weather, easy to wash and keeps sand from rubbing those sensitive horses in hot weather. Elite professionals in many disciplines seek out our product after using the knock-offs - our boots are durable and comfortable.

Now, with fashion becoming more expressive in many disciplines, we are excited to announce our Freestyle line - fully custom boot design with over 260 different colors (and growing each month) creating over 6000 combinations of design and durability allowing you to create your horse's perfect boot. We love problem solving, whether its size, durability, or a perfect color design - give us a call and we will happily sort it out.

I have used these lightweight but seriously protective boots in training Grand Prix Dressage, Eventing, Hunter Jumpers, Vaulting and Combined Driving for over 40 years. They have been fantastic for all disciplines and I'm sure will keep your horse happy as well.

We are horse people who want the best product for our horses. We look forward to establishing a successful business relationship with you, and welcome your feedback, comments, and input.

Yours,
Anne Howard
